"Courageous Leadership During Difficult Times" On March 17 in McAlister Fieldhouse, South Carolina Governor Nikki R. Haley addressed the Corps of Cadets and Symposium guests on how important leadership is during challenging times.

"An Honest Talk About Dishonesty and How It Plays Out In Real Life" On March 17 in Buyer Auditorium, a talented panel of business professionals addressed the audience. Dr. Bill Trumbull, Dean of the School of Business at The Citadel moderated while Ms. Jamie Foehl, Dr. Timothy Hedley and Mr. Walter Pavlo shared their experiences in the real world.

"Leadership During Crisis: October 2015 South Carolina Floods" On March 17 in Jenkins Auditorium, a talented panel of engineering professionals discussed the October 2015 floods in South Carolina. Dr. Ron Welch, Dean of the School of Engineering at The Citadel moderated the panel. Participants included Brigadier General Van McCarty, Mr. Ken Braddock, Major Chris Cowan, MAJOR Grace "Marguerite" McClam, Mr. Travis Hughes, Chief Jason Krusen and Mr. Andrew "Andy" Leaphart.

"Recognizing Heroes in Our Community" On March 17 in McAlister Fieldhouse, The Citadel was honored to host WWII Medal of Honor Receipient from Iwo Jima, Mr. Woodrow "Woody" Williams.

"Character and Courage: Citadel Women Leaders" On March 18 in Buyer Auditorium, The Citadel welcomed previous Citadel women graduates back to discuss their time as cadets and how they used that experience in the real world. The Citadel's first woman graduate, Ms. Nancy Mace moderated the panel. She was joined by Ms. Kathleen Cartland, Ms. Mandy Garcia Patrick, Ms. Lesjanusar "Shay" Peterson and Major Petra Lovetinka Seipel.

"Lessons in Leadership of Race Relations in the South Carolina Lowcountry, Summer 2015-and Beyond" On March 18 in McAlister Fieldhouse, our Symposium guests heard from an amazing panel of prominent community members. The panel was moderated by The Citadel's own professor and Charleston former mayor, Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Important panelists included Pastor Nelson Rivers from Charity Missionary Baptist Church, Chief Greg Mullen from the Charleston Police Department, Pastor Kylon Middleton from Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church and Major Naomi Broughton from the Charleston Police Department.
