Homecoming 2011
Hundreds of Citadel alumni will converge on campus Nov. 11-13
The Homecoming 2011 celebration begins on Friday, Nov. 11, with the annual meeting of The Citadel Alumni Association membership and Lt. Gen. John W. Rosa's presidential address to alumni. Also on Friday, the School of Business Administration will recognize its Alumnus of the Year and the Cadet Chorale will sing at the annual memorial service. The Twilight Parade at 5:10 p.m. will preceed the annual social gatherings of alumni young and old on Friday night.
Saturday's festivities include open barracks, performances by the Regimental Band and Pipes and the Summerall Guards and the 11 a.m. military dress parade is held in honor of all alumni. The School of Engineering will welcome its alumni back to campus at its annual luncheon and will present its prestigious Himelright Scholarship to an outstanding engineering student. The day wraps up on the gridiron where the Bulldogs will take on Samford University.
