Banner and Lesesne Gateway Outage: 9:00am – 9:00pm Friday, July 31, 2015

This outage is required for the installation of several Banner Upgrades and Patches. This timing was coordinated with Ellucian, ITS, Institutional Research, and Banner Student, Finance and Human Resource teams.

During this window Lesesne Gateway, ODS/EDW, Banner INB, BannerWeb (Student, Faculty, Employee, and Finance self-service), Banner Communications Management, Cadet systems, and all other processes dependent upon Banner will be unavailable.

Lesesne Gateway will redirect to http://www.bulldogalert.info.

CitLearn and our email systems do not require use of Lesesne Gateway. CitLearn can be reached at https://citlearn.blackboard.com/. Banner INB unavailable

Banner will be unavailable for approximately 20 minutes between 6:00 and 7:00 am, Wednesday July 15 in order to apply a patch that will resolve a problem with java when logging into Banner INB.

The Citadel systems maintenance has been completed, please report any issues to the ITS Help Center (953-4357).

Note that the following Citadel services will never be interrupted during these maintenance windows:

  • Citadel employee Office 365 email accessed from off-campus or on-campus by phone over cellular data connection.
  • Citadel student Google email accessed from off-campus or on-campus by phone over cellular data connection.
  • Blackboard

Banner Outage

Banner and Banner Self-Service (BannerWeb) will be unavailable from Noon Tuesday, June 30th through 6 am Wednesday, July 1st. This is necessary for Financial Services to successfully close out fiscal year 2015.

Interruption of Internet Services

NOTICE FOR FRIDAY, JUNE 19 – EARLY MORNING INTERRUPTION OF INTERNET SERVICES

WHEN: Friday, June 19, 2015. 3a.m. – 6a.m.
WHAT: In an effort to minimize the impact to The Citadel community and customers, ITS will conduct high-priority maintenance work during this low-use timeframe.
WHAT IS IMPACTED: all internet traffic to and from The Citadel campus and data center
NOT IMPACTED: Citadel email and (Citlearn) Blackboard will function normally
