A special exhibit in The Citadel Museum honors Maj. Gen. James A. Grimsley, Jr., 16th president of The Citadel and president emeritus. The exhibit includes photographs that illustrate Grimsley's cadet years (1938-1942), military career (1942-1975) and Citadel presidency (1980-1989). His biography and accomplishments also highlight the exhibit.
The museum is open to the public Sunday through Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until 5 p.m. The Museum Entrance is on the south side of the Daniel Library, opposite the guard house at the main gates of the college. An elevator is available to the third floor.
