Library friends features Italy’s Renaissance gardens

The Citadel's Library Friends speaker series will feature a presentation by Angie Whaley LeClercq on Italy’s famous Renaissance gardens at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Bond Hall 165. The program, which is scheduled for one hour, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

LeClercq is director of The Citadel's Daniel Library and garden correspondent for Charleston's Mercury Newspaper. Her presentation will focus on the extensive use of garden ornamentation from elaborate water theaters to statues and urns.
