Jack Douglas graduated from The Citadel in 1992 with a degree in Mathematics and was in Delta Company. He was raised in Irmo, South Carolina and currently lives in the Columbia area where he serves as the Regional Director of the Carolinas for Allstate Benefits. He served as a member of The Citadel Board of Visitors from 2004 -2007.

Douglas was the quarterback for one of the Bulldogs most successful teams, helping them tie for first place in the final NCAA 1-AA poll during his senior year. At the time, he was the all-time leading rushing quarterback in 1-AA football with 3,674 career yards. He led The Citadel to memorable upsets over South Carolina (1990), Arkansas (1992), and Army (1991 & ’92), and took the team to the college’s second Southern Conference championship in 1992.

Douglas was selected the South Carolina Male Amateur Athlete of the Year and South Carolina Offensive Player of the Year. Additionally, he served as co-captain for the 1991 and 1992 seasons. His jersey, number 14 was retired and he was inducted into the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.
