Admission Requirements

The Swain Department of Nursing Degree Completion program covers the final 60 credit hours required to receive the Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing. Student applying must have:

• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with a "C" or better in all math and science courses. Applicants with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 - 2.99 may be considered for admission.
• Submit an application to The Citadel Graduate College. There is no application fee. Complete the nursing admission questionnaire including an essay on nursing.
• Submit all official transcripts directly from the college/university to The Citadel Graduate College (CGC) office.

The number of students accepted for admission is limited.

Early decision application deadline is October 1st.

General application deadline is March 1st.
