Christopher Turner

Christopher Turner specializes in composition and literature courses that teach the craft of academic writing through historical and social themes. His past composition courses have covered such topics as espionage during the American Revolution, Navy SEALS and Marines in the War on Terror, The Hunger Games series as social commentary, and the ancient battles of Thermopylae and Salamis. Professor Turner’s composition and literature courses often examine the historical and literary contexts of the Trojan War and its aftermath through the study of Homer’s Iliad and Aeschylus’s Oresteia.
