Education Tax Credits
The Citadel supports students by providing a Federal 1098-T form to persons with qualifying education expenses during the prior calendar year.
The 1098-T form is necessary for persons who wish to take Education Tax Credits.

Notes to Remember
1098-T forms will be sent to a student's home address before January 31.
Please note that The Citadel will only report dollar amounts billed for QUALIFIED EXPENSES during the prior calendar year.

If a student needs another copy of the 2015 or 2016 or 2017 1098T form, use the following link https://heartland.ecsi.net/
You will need the student's First and Last Name, Social Security Number and Zip Code to set up an account and access the electronic copy of the form.
If a student needs a replacement copy of the 2011, 2012, 2013 or 2014 1098-T form, he or she should contact the Treasurers Office at trsr@citadel.edu. Copies will be mailed. We can not provide the information by email or fax.
In addition, students may contact Vangent, for a copy of 2010 and prior forms.
To protect your privacy, The Citadel can not provide 1098-T information over the phone.
