Mr. Fox is the founding partner of the business strategy-marketing consulting firm, The Soundings Group, based in Charleston, SC. He is also affiliated with Cedar Ventures; a venture capital firm based in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Fox has extensive experience working for Fortune 500 companies in marketing, new business development and business ventures. Mr. Fox has led marketing research and new business development teams at consumer packaged goods companies: The NutraSweet Company and Hunt-Wesson Foods (now ConAgra) and in medical products (Hillenbrand Industries). His experience includes working on high profile consumer products such as: Equal brand sweetener, NutraSweet, Wesson Oil, Orville Redenbacher Popcorn and Peter Pan Peanut Butter, among others. He has extensive international experience assessing new markets, helping to launch and optimize new product introductions in: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Western Europe. Mr. Fox also has extensive new business consulting experience in the medical field, working with such companies as: Cook, Berchtold, GE Medical, Hollister, Smith and Nephew and The Eli Lilly and Company. He teaches marketing and international business, part-time, at Webster University and The Citadel. Mr. Fox is a mentor in The Citadel's MBA program. He is past chairman of the South Carolina World Trade Center board of directors, and is on the board of directors for the America-Israel Chamber of Commerce in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Fox taught an MBA marketing course in Chengdu, China during 2011. He has published in the Journal of Business Strategy, The Journal of Healthcare Finance, the University of South Carolina's Business and Economic Review, Pepperdine University's Graziadio Business Review and the Journal of Competitive Intelligence.
