Dr. William C. Sharbrough is a Professor of Management at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina and has been on the faculty here since 1985.  He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Louisiana State University, an MBA and B.S. from Mississippi State University. His current teaching and research interests include leadership and leader language, teams, and organizational behavior. He is Past-President of both the Southeastern and Southwestern US Region of the Association for Business Communication. 

From 1979-1985, he was on the faculty of the management department of the University of Louisville.  From 1975-1979, he was a graduate teaching assistant and instructor at LSU.  

On campus he has served as Assistant to the Dean for Undergraduate Studies, the NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative, in the Officer in Charge program in the barracks, and as head of the Management & Marketing Division of The Citadel School of Business.
