Ronald F. Green was appointed dean of The Citadel School of Business Administration on July 1, 2007.  Prior to that, he served as dean of the Indiana State University College of Business from 2002-2007.  His previous experience includes serving as Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Studies in Business at East Tennessee State University.  Dr. Green is a 1986 graduate of Clemson University where he earned his Ph. D. in Industrial Management.  During his academic career, he has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in strategic planning, health care management, operations management, and decision science. His primary research interests are strategy and the management of health care systems.  He has published over fifty articles and papers in a variety of outlets, to include the Journal of Business Research, Long Range Planning, and the International Journal of Health Care Quality Assurance.  Dr. Green has served the business community through consulting activities in a number of areas to include:  strategic planning, the management of health benefits, monitoring consumer satisfaction, and the development of health outcomes monitoring systems.
