Brent Stewart completed a BA from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, and additional graduate work in Business Administration at the University of South Carolina. His experience includes teaching in the University of Wisconsin system, at the University of South Carolina, Coker College, Cardinal Stritch College, Columbia College, and The Citadel. 

Courses taught at the undergraduate and/or graduate level include:  Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Business, Finance, Investments, Management, Organizational Theory, Business Communication, Marketing, Business Research, and Strategic Management.

Additional experience includes work for The Institute of Paper Chemistry (genetics research projects for the paper industry), in environmental education, for Prudential, and for American Express. His current work includes a focus on the development of students' decision-making and communication skills, and on innovation in collegiate career services. He has frequently presented on these topics at national and regional conferences.
