Duvall Herlocker is the Undergraduate Academic Advisor for the School of Business Administration. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and her Master of Education from the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Herlocker is a member of the National Career Development Association and the National Academic Advising Association. Ms. Herlocker is also a member of the CSBA Business Executive Leadership Team and assists with special programs and projects. She serves on various committees to include The Mentor's Association, the Scholarship Committee, Global Initiatives in the Classroom, the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and the Student Affairs Committee.
In addition to advising the undergraduate day students, she also acts as the liaison for the Trident -Citadel 2+2 Business Administration evening program. She assists students with career development by coordinating a series of Career Visioning Seminars and Career Nights. Ms. Herlocker promotes internships, study abroad opportunities, The Mentor Association, Citadel Undergraduate Business Association and The Finance and Investment Club.
She enjoys helping students with resumes, mock interviews, business etiquette, career planning, scholarships and job search techniques. Prior to her position with The Citadel, Ms. Herlocker has worked in higher education at four different universities. She has also worked at a wilderness school in New Mexico for high school students with learning disabilities and did an internship in Scotland teaching environmental education to international students.
