William Good, MBA

William "Bill" Good is the Executive in Residence in the Baker School of Business. He teaches BADM 433 Social Entrepreneurship.

Bill recently retired as CEO of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), a non-profit trade association headquartered in the Chicago area. During his 28-year tenure as CEO of NRCA, the association doubled in size and broadened its reach to include members in 54 foreign countries. Bill also helped to create a foundation that is managed by the association; it successfully raised more than $12 million to create a permanent endowment fund. Bill also oversaw the roofing industry's donation of a new roof to the Pentagon following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Bill graduated from the University of Virginia, and hold his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. His volunteer activities include serving as an officer and director of the American Society of Association Executives, serving as board chairman of the Association Forum of Chicagoland and serving on the board of directors of the National Chamber Foundation, an arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, Bill served as a board member and president of the Chicago Christian Industrial League, a homeless shelter and rehabilitation facility, and as national board chairman of Rebuilding Together, an organization that rehabilitates single-family homes for low-income homeowners and veterans.
