Robert Johnson, MBA, MA

Bob earned an MBA in International Management from Georgetown University, an MA in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Tufts University, and received BS in Engineering from the US Military Academy. He is a current member and past chairman of the board of the White House Fellows Foundation.

He is President of Rewarding Insights, LLC, a closely-held consulting firm focused on helping small businesses secure government contracts. He has extensive experience in various corporate and government positions, including senior vice president of strategy and corporate development with Force Protection, Inc., where he was responsible for corporate growth intitiatives. His other positions have included vice president of strategic planning at the Ground Systems business of BAE Systems, principal consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and assistant director of the Strategic Assessment Center at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in McLean, VA.

Mr. Johnson retired from the US Army after twenty years in 1995 as a Lieutenant Colonel, during which time he taught at West Point, served at both the White House and the Pentagon, and saw combat during the Persian Gulf War. He was a White House Fellow in 1987, serving as a deputy executive secretary to the cabinet-level Domestic Policy Council. In his final active duty US Army assignment at the Pentagon, he served as a strategic planner to the Chief of Staff of the Army, on assignment to the Office of the Secretary of Defense for strategic planning issues.
