Admission to the program is offered on an ongoing, first-come-first-served basis for qualified candidates.
The application process consists of three parts:
- Approval of Citadel Study Abroad office (application forms)
- Approval of Citadel Criminal Justice program (application form)
- Financial qualification
- Submission of a $300 deposit ($250 of deposit will be refunded if student is offered admission to the program, accepts, but then does not participate for whatever reason. The full deposit will be refunded if the student is not offered admission to the program.)
- Plans to pay for the $2,900 estimated program cost for up to 6 hours credit (e.g., Star of West Scholarship, student loans, out of pocket, etc.). Deposit is applied to program fees.

The Criminal Justice program strongly encourages potential applicants to apply to funding opportunities such as the Star of the West. Students with a 3.2 GPA are competitive for this funding.
