The Department of Criminal Justice offers its cadets an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of internships that will help to shape their understanding of various professions within the field.
To participate in the internship program, cadets must:
- Be a Criminal Justice major
- Have taken at least 2 Criminal Justice courses at The Citadel (with a grade of C or better)
- Currently have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA (overall and within major)
- Have enough hours to be classified as a Junior
These requirements are the minimum to be eligible for consideration. Given that internship slots are limited, placement of students is very selective. Not all criminal justice majors will be able to participate in the internship program. Meeting the above requirements does not equate with automatic placement. The aforementioned criteria allow you to apply for consideration.
