Brian Norris

Brian Norris has a broad professional background both as an analyst utilizing qualitative comparative methods from the discipline of political science and as a manager in a variety professional settings, both public and private. He lived and worked for 5 years in Latin America where he supervised rural health projects. At his doctoral institution, Johns Hopkins/SAIS, he studied under the supervision of the political scientist Francis Fukuyama. His current research focuses on the causes of the drug wars in Mexico and Central America since the 1990s, comparative democratic development, comparative public administration and the revitalization of area studies. He is a dedicated husband and father. |
