The book signing will begin at 6 p.m. in McAlister Field House.
A ticket to the basketball game is required to gain admittance to the book signing. Game tickets are $22 and are available by calling The Citadel Athletic Ticket Office at 843.953.3647.
Tipoff for the game that features last year’s national runners-up is slated for 7:05 pm.
Conroy is a 1967 graduate of The Citadel. His cousin, Ed Conroy, is head coach of the Bulldog basketball team.
The Citadel Gift Shop has an array of Conroy’s books for sale, including his most recent work, “South of Broad.”
Between now and the book signing, the Gift Shop is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
During the book signing and game, a No. 22 jersey autographed by Conroy will be raffled. Conroy wore a similar No. 22 jersey as a senior when he earned the team’s most valuable player award in 1967. Raffle tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from any Citadel cheerleader the night of the game. Proceeds benefit the Basketball Excellence Fund.
