Each cadet will received eight (8) general admission tickets from Cadet Activities during the week of April 1-12. Seating will be available in the bleacher area on a first-come, first-serve basis. Graduation is a special occasion for everyone and we know that all guests are anxious to see their cadet take part in the ceremony. Seating is available on a first-come first-served basis. Please ensure that your entire group arrives at the same time if you wish to sit together. Out of respect and fairness to all visitors, you will not be allowed to hold seats for those who do not enter the field house with your group.
December graduates and fifth-year seniors living off campus must contact Ruthie Ward in Cadet Activities for tickets.
Tickets are not required for The Citadel Graduate College commencement.
Please note that Commencement 2013 will be a very busy weekend.
Spring is high tourist season in Charleston. In addition there are numerous other events and other graduation ceremonies that could affect your local travel plans. Among them: Charleston Southern University's commencement on May 4 and the Charleston Dragon Boat Festival, which will take place adjacent to campus at Brittlebank Park on Lockwood Boulevard. Both events occur at the same time as the Corps of Cadets commencement, but the Dragon Boat Festival will impact your local travel to and from campus. Consider alternate routes when traveling from downtown to The Citadel campus.
We encourage you to make plans as soon as possible and when traveling to campus events leave with enough time to account for traffic locally and finding parking. Please periodically check this web page for information updates.
