For The Citadel Graduate College Commencement handicapped seating, call 843-953-5089. On-campus handicapped parking will be available for all events.

Admission tickets are required for commencement exercises for the Corps of Cadets on Saturday, May 5. Eight (8) assigned seating tickets will be distributed to each cadet between April 9 and 20. For more information about availability of tickets, click here.
Tickets are not required for admission to The Citadel Graduate College commencement.
Graduating cadets will gather in Deas Hall no later than 8 a.m. Saturday, May 5 for lineup. Alumni fathers presenting diplomas to their sons or daughters will be lined up in the rear hallway of McAlister Field House. Families and other guests must arrive and be seated PRIOR TO THE PROCESSIONAL. Those not seated by 8:50 a.m. must wait until the conclusion of the processional before being seated.
CGC students will gather in Deas Hall no later than 3 p.m. Saturday, May 5 for robing and lineup.
The Corps of Cadets commencement will last approximately 3 hours.
The Citadel Graduate College commencement will last about 1 ½ hours.

8. What can we bring into the field house for commencement?
For the Corps of Cadets commencement all guests, including small children, must have tickets to enter the field house. Tickets are not required for admission to The Citadel Graduate College commencement.
For both commencement exercises: No boxes, alcohol, weapons, firecrackers, noise makers, umbrellas, beverage containers of any sort, backpacks, large handbags, coolers, thermoses or similar items will be allowed in the field house. Food and drink are prohibited. Cameras and video cameras are permitted, however, guests will not be permitted on the floor of the field house during commencement exercises.
You may order invitations through Balfour Graduation Announcements online. Please note an invitation or announcement cannot be used for admission to the Corps of Cadets commencement.
The Citadel External Affairs Office has contracted with a professional photographer to take color pictures of each individual during Friday's military commissioning ceremonies and each individual receiving a diploma at both the Corps of Cadets and Citadel Graduate College commencement exercises. Families are asked not to come forward to take family snapshots or video during the commencement exercises.
GradImages will contact graduates and their families following commencement with more information on how to purchase photos of each graduate receiving a diploma.
