CGPS to hold fall open house
The Citadel’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at Mark Clark Hall on campus.
Prospective students and their families are invited to learn more about the programs and services offered for evening undergraduate and graduate studies. Citadel professors will be on hand to discuss programs and answer questions. In addition, CGPS staff will be available to answer admissions and application questions.
Special activities are planned, including music, refreshments, visits from local greyhound and golden retriever rescue groups, a balloon artist and Boo, one of The Citadel’s two bulldog mascots.
Through The Citadel's evening college, undergraduate programs have been offered for Lowcountry citizens since 1966, and the graduate programs have been available since 1968. The CGPS program is designed for the non-traditional student. Today, CGPS offers 19 graduate degree programs, three of them offered jointly with the College of Charleston. In addition, CGPS offers three undergraduate degree programs through cooperative "2 + 2" programs with Trident Technical College.
