National executives to participate in 2nd Directors’ Institute
National Association of Corporate Directors CEO Kenneth Daly to speak
Senior executives and board members from some of the top organizations and corporations in the country will serve as the faculty for The Citadel Directors’ Institute (CDI). Hosted by The Citadel School of Business Administration, and in partnership with the Research Triangle Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the second annual event is scheduled for March 17-18 at Charleston Place Hotel in Charleston.
“We have a panel that rivals any similar program in the county,” said Ron Green, dean of The Citadel School of Business Administration. “Participants will have the opportunity to engage with some of the greatest businesses minds in the country, and to network with other corporate directors. CDI is a must-attend for anyone sitting on a corporate board.”
The two-day seminar will focus on best practices in corporate governance; developments in the legal, regulatory and political environment; and risk management. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware Myron Steele and Kenneth Daly, president and CEO of the National Association of Corporate Directors, will deliver keynote addresses and participate in sessions.
