Dr. Johnson is an Associate Professor of General Biology, Bioterrorism, and Descriptive Histology. Her current research focuses on monitoring the exposure of local birds to the West Nile virus and the effects of this virus on the overall well-being of the birds. She is the faculty advisor for BioCid and the Tau Nu chapter of Tri-Beta and is a long-standing member of the Communication Across the Curriculum committee.
