Alumnus to deliver baccalaureate address

Dr. Vince Bacote, a member of The Citadel Class of 1987, will deliver the baccalaureate address on Thursday, May 3 at 5:30 p.m. in Summerall Chapel.

Dr. Bacote is an associate professor of theology and the director designate of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. He received his B.S. in biology from The Citadel in 1987, his Master of Divinity with an emphasis in urban ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1994, and his Ph.D. in theological and religious studies from Drew University in May 2002.
