AERO 301 / 302 - All Sections

AERO301 - Leadership Studies

CLASS OVERVIEW: AS 300 is a 3 credit hour class, so it will be more challenging than AS 100 and AS 200 classes—we expect more from you, so be prepared. Most lessons will reflect how the Air Force approaches leadership, and instructors will work hard to make class relevant to you whether you are entering the military or not. Leadership development is vital to your success as a future leader, and this class will help improve skills you already possess.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Leadership Studies, AS 300 is a study of leadership, management fundamentals, ethics, and communication skills required of Air Force junior officers. Case studies are used to examine Air Force leadership and management situations to demonstrate and exercise practical application of course concepts. A mandatory Leadership Laboratory for contract cadets complements classroom instruction and provides students the opportunity to apply leadership and management principles studied in class.
