Top cadets for next year named

The top ranking cadets and company commanders for the upcoming 2006-2007 academic year have been appointed at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. These student military officers, all of which are rising seniors, will lead the approximately 1,900 members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets this coming fall.

The top ranking cadets are:

  • Regimental Commander Timothy A. Devine of Roswell, Ga.
  • Regimental Executive Officer Nicholas J. Gombos of Bakersfield, Calif.
  • First Battalion Commander Andrew S. McCollough of San Angelo, Texas
  • Second Battalion Commander Angelo Medico of Coral Springs, Fla.
  • Third Battalion Commander David Liberti of Boynton Beach, Fla.
  • Fourth Battalion Commander Richard C. Faille of Beverly, Mass.
  • Honor Committee Chairman Brett S. Miller of Gastonia, N.C.
  • Regimental Academic Officer Brian E. DuBois of Atlanta, Ga.
  • Regimental Operations Officer Jeffrey C. Blumenauer of Clermont, Fla.
