Biggest and best yard sale of the year is back

It's one of the area's best yard sales ever - The Citadel Women's Club will hold its annual yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 31 at the Altman Center in the end zone at Johnson Hagood Stadium on Hagood Avenue at Fishburne Street.

Everything from cleaning supplies, towels and T-shirts to furniture, electronics and school supplies will be on sale for rock bottom prices. All proceeds to go support scholarships for cadets.

The Annual Stadium Sale started 12 years ago when it was noticed that cadets discarded many useable items at the end of each academic year. Now every year people line up early for the sale, but no early birds please.

The sneak peek for Citadel faculty, staff, students and alumni only is at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30.
