Begun in 2006,
the Bulldog Drill Meet is an annual invitation drill
meet held on the campus of the Citadel, the Military
College of South Carolina. The drill meet involves
Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) units
of every service from both North and South Carolina.
Last year, the meet encompassed twenty-one schools
in the all-day event. This year, the Rifle Legion hopes
to attract even more schools, and has added three more
events to the previous eleven. Two knockouts are held
every year, an armed and and unarmed. This year, knockout
will be free to each school that registers. This year's
event will be held on Saturday, 14 November, 2009.
For the fall of 2009, registration forms and money due forms should be emailed as soon as possible.
