Tips
Here are some general tips to make your transition to the new web site easier:
- A-Z Site Map - If you need to know where anything is, the fastest way to find it is on the A-Z Site Map, which is linked to every page on the new web site. Here you'll find everything from Academic Calendars to Writing and Learning Center. Press a key to jump to that letter; i.e. press the D key to jump to the section that includes Dining Services.
- Online Directory (People Search) - This has been renamed to People Search. There are People Search boxes on the left side of all new web pages; just type in the name and click Go.
- Web Search - There are Web Search boxes on the left side of all new web pages; just type in what you're looking for and click Go.
- Take the Tour - This tour describes the more modern navigation elements found in the new web site.
- Cadet OS&D System - This Cadet system is now available in the Quick Links box under "Cadet OS&D".
- Dining Services - Because this site receives so much traffic, we have made it easier to find:
- A link from the home page pulldown menus (Corps of Cadets and Faculty and Staff)
- A link from the Quick Links box on all main web pages
- Forms and Policies - The links to administrative forms and policies are now easier to find:
- One-Stop Desktop - This faculty/staff feature is now single-clickable from:
- Page Not Found - Previously, clicking into a broken Citadel link generated a generic, unhelpful error message; the new error page is much more helpful and looks like this.
