Welcome
The Office of Public Affairs is responsible for supervising and assisting with the web pages and web-based applications located on all Citadel web servers. These responsibilities can be broken down as follows:
- manage the news, photos, and links on the home page (http://citadel.edu/)
- collect and promulgate policies for the static and dynamic content located on all Citadel web servers
- administrate the netCCMS© content management software
- assist in the import of older web sites into the netCCMS© software
- assist in the generation of new netCCMS© templates for departments/offices that desire a non-standard appearance for their web pages
- provide web accounts to faculty and staff
- provide a web account and web space to one cadet in each cadet company; the web space is located at http://citadel.edu/company/ (this has been authorized; contact eric.oman@citadel.edu to request an account if you are interested)
- provide web accounts and a minimum of 10 MB of web space to cadets and CGPS students who request this service
