Effective 1 November 2007 all parking on campus (within The Citadel gates/fence) will be open to all that have purchased parking stickers, on a first come basis. Reserved parking will no longer be offered, except as noted below. Handicapped, visitor and special parking for our contractors will be retained.

*Executive Staff members and Deans may pruchase reserved spaces if they pay the special fee indicated in the fee structure below. Reserved spaces for cadets on campus will be retained and limited to seniors and 100 juniors. Other cadets will park in the Altman Lot and Lockwood Field.

*Evening students may continue to park on campus after normal duty hours, as in the past. Those having business on campus during normal work hours may continue to park in the Congress Street Lot, adjacent to the Alumni Center if space is available. Students must use the area at the rear of the lot, closest to the marsh, which is clearly marked.

*Free parking outside the campus gates/fence on Citadel property (Stadium and Alumni Center areas) can no longer be provided.

*Parking on Richardson Avenue may be restricted during parades and major events in that it becomes a choke point and restricts traffic flow.

*Parking on Hammond Avenue, along Washington Light Infantry Field and around the Parade Field may be restricted to provide parking for special events.

*The following fee structure will be implemented effective 1 October 2007 for day students, faculty and staff. See below for Cadet Student fees.
