What have our recent students accomplished?

• Sandy Glover (Ed.S., '96) is pursuing a Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of South Carolina.
• Ryan Allen (M.Ed., '97) is pursuing a Ph.D. in School Psychology at Ball State University.
• Joy Wymer (M.A., '99) is pursuing a Ph.D. in School Psychology at Louisiana State University.
• Ali Tharwat, Katalin Nagy, and Charlene Zehner recently presented their Master's Theses at the 1999 Southeastern Psychological Association.
• Tom Harrison, Gray Buchanan, Erica Swanson, Arthur Laney, Jennifer Gibney, Michelle Jacques, Joy Gossett, Lori Tillotson, and Kelly Sullivan recently presented their Master's Theses at the 1999 South Carolina Psychological Association Meeting.
• Between 1995-1999 our students have published or presented over 53 papers.

The Aline M. Mahan Award

The Aline M. Mahan Award is given annually to the outstanding student in school psychology. Dr. Mahan was instrumental in forming the school psychology program at the Citadel. She also has the distinction of being the first female professor at the Citadel.
