DESCRIPTION OF AGENCY:
School-Based Services provides a combination of preventative and therapeutic services to eligible youth and their families in Dorchester School District II.  Services provided are: assessments, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, consultation with school personnel, DSS, DJJ, DDSN and consultations with a child psychiatrist.  School-Based Services is a year-round program.  Presently, School-Based Services is in seven schools in Dorchester School District II.  There are also school-based services in Dorchester School District IV.
   
Besides School-Based Services the student could shadow other counselors in the following services- clinic-based services, intensive in-home services (Family Preservation, community outreach services, reunification services, and Babynet.

DESCRIPTION OF GROUPS:

• Educational and Process- We have curriculum to conduct groups on topics of grief, self-esteem, stress management, separation and divorce, ADHD, and study skills.
