Newsletter: Any printed material published and distributed on a regular basis to inform readers about The Citadel's activities in a particular area of interest during a specific time period.

  • "Internal" refers to newsletters containing information for use by The Citadel's own staff.
  • "External" refers to newsletters designed to create awareness of The Citadel's activities and enhance public relations for a specific audience (other than staff) relevant to The Citadel.
Ink Colors: All colors, including black. 

Duplex Printing: Printing on both sides of the page. 

Coated Paper: A wood fiber paper with a baked on, bleached clay coating. 

Uncoated Paper: A wood and cotton fiber paper. Cotton content may range from 25 to 100 percent. 

Embossing: To decorate print with a raised design. 

Foil Stamping: A thin, flexible leaf or sheet of metal. 

Die Cuts: A process that cuts or shapes by stamping, cutting or punching.
