Placement: Several factors will be considered
during placement of copierst. Monthly volume, speed, and desired features
are the main criteria for determining which copier to place in a department.
Copiers are matched with a model that performs best in the specified volume
range. A written justification must accompany any request for different
equipment to be placed in a using department.
Five Models: There are five bands of copiers available
for use at The Citadel. The copiers are classified by the volume per month and
minimum copy speed. The copier assigned will depend upon the volume per month
that can be supported.
Volume Band I Copiers:
- Minimum copy speed of 20 copies per minute.
- Producing up to 5,000 copies per month.
Volume Band II Copiers:
- Minimum copy speed of 30 copies per minute.
- Producing up to 15,000 copies per month.
Volume Band III Copiers:
- Minimum copy speed of 40 copies per minute.
- Producing up to 30,000 copies per month.
Volume Band IV Copiers:
- Minimum copy speed of 50 copies per minute
- Producing up to 50,000 copies per month.
Volume Band V Copiers:
- Minimum copy speed of 60 copies per minute.
- Producing up to 75,000 copies per month.
