office. Courvoisie, the legendary assistant commandant, became famous

Arland D. Williams Society was established in memory of the ’57
Citadel graduate
who gave his life in the icy waters of the Potomac River in 1982 trying
to save
five fellow passengers aboard Air Florida 90 after it crashed.
