novelist Pat Conroy, ‘67, made an appearance at the Holliday Alumni
Center to sign copies of his new book, My Losing Season, the response was so great that the book signing, which was scheduled for three hours, lasted more than five hours. |

| Lt.
Col. Thomas N. Courvoisie, who joined Conroy at the book signing, takes
a minute to enjoy a laugh with Teresa Corbett-Miller of the campus telecommunications
office. Courvoisie, the legendary assistant commandant, became famous
after the publication of Conroy’s first book, The Boo. |
