The week following September 11, 2001 |

The Friday afternoon
parade on September 14 was dedicated to the families
and the victims of the terrorist attack. |
Flags all around campus
flew at half staff.
Visitors brought their
own flags to parade. The public affairs staff passed out red, white, and
blue ribbons to the crowd. And the regimental band played God Bless
America.

A record turn-out at
the monthly blood drive caused Red Cross workers to actually turn away
donors. The next scheduled blood drive is October 16 in Mark Clark Hall.
Cadets waited patiently
during the rush to give blood. Three hundred pints were donated.

Maj. Gen. Grinalds took
time out of his busy schedule to give blood.
