Course Description |

This course provides
the student with a basic knowledge of seapower and maritime affairs.
It is a study of the U.S. Navy from its inception during the Revolutionary
War to the modern fleets of today. Chronological periods are broken
down and discussed based on the following common themes: foreign
policy, strategy, tactics, technological advances, interservice
relationships, leadership, and Anglo-American relations. (One Credit
