Wireless: Configuring SSL

If you are using Internet Explorer 7.0 (IE7) or Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and higher you'll need to modify your browser settings to connect to the Citadel's Wireless network. Below are instructions for configuring Internet Explorer 7.0. If you prefer Mozilla Firefox, click here for instructions.

Internet Explorer 7.0

Open the Internet Options dialog box by clicking Tools then Internet Options.

1) On the dialog box, select the Advanced Tab. Under Settings you should see a list of advanced options. Scroll to the bottom of the list. (See figure below)

2) Place a check in the box next to SSL 2.0.

3) Click Apply.

4) Click Okay

5) Refresh your browser Screen.

You should see a the following:




6) Click Continue to this website.

7) You should now see the Citadel Wireless Logon Screen. Check the library's wireless information page if you need instructions for logging onto the wireless.
