The Daniel Library orders books, videos, music CDs, journals, indexing/abstracting, electronic databases -- in short, anything supporting the college curriculum. We emphasize "content" over "container". We welcome suggestions for new titles and replacements for outdated or missing titles. Teaching faculty, send requests through your department's library liaison or through the library's liaison to your department. Book Request: use this online form to place an acquisition request for monographs. Journal Request: use this online form to place an acquisition request for journal subscriptions. Search the Daniel Library Catalog for Acquisitions Current departmental subscriptions All current journals, magazines, newspapers and indexes charged to a particular department. Does NOT include standing orders. Current departmental standing orders All current series. Does NOT include journals, magazines, or newspapers. Serials PERTAINING to a discipline: Journals, magazines, newspapers, indexes, and standing orders that may be of interest to a particular discipline (regardless of actual department charged). Includes current and closed subscriptions. Satellite Taping Service The Daniel Library has been designated as a taping site for satellite programming. Videos may be used to enrich or amplify course instruction. The library has allocated funds to pay for licensing fees. Downlinking is coordinated with ITS. To request satellite taping of a program for your class, contact Ruby Murray at 3-6845 or murrayr@citadel.edu. Program catalogs and schedules are available at the Circulation Desk. |
