Computer PolicyPolicy for Use of Library Computers and the InternetThere will be no changing or adding of any files to the personal computers. Users are not to insert any non-research related disks or CD-ROMs (with the exception of music CDs) into the personal computers. Users will not attempt to bypass security programs. It is the intent of the Daniel Library to comply with all applicable copyright laws and software restrictions. It is a violation of the law to knowingly display obscene messages, files, or images (S. C. Code 16-15-305). Users are subject to The Citadel's Computing Policy as put forth by ITS. Users that violate the above rules may be subject to removal or legal action. Cadets who violate the above policy rules are subject to disciplinary action according to computer use rules specified in The Citadel Blue Book (Chapter 3, section P).
