The Krause Center for Leadership and Ethics and the office of the Commandant hosted the Rising Corps Leadership Luncheon Tuesday, April 28TH on the club level of Johnson Hagood Stadium.

Cadets Kablick, Boyle and Shalbi Attend 20th Annual United States Coast Guard Academy Ethics Forum

The Krause Center for Leadership and Ethics hosted its 2nd Annual Leadership Symposium March 12 & 13, 2009.  The theme for this year's event was "Principled Leadership: Foundations for Excellence."

The first Schiller Family Scholarship was presented to Cadet Stephen Guess, Honor Committee Chairman, and Cadet Sean Donohue, Honor Committee Vice-chairman for Investigations. The scholarship, which will be awarded annually, was presented by Dr.Harvey Schiller, Citadel Class of 1960, and his wife, Marcia.

Cadet William Nall and Cadet Sarah Creel represented The Citadel Corps of Cadets at the 23rd Annual National Conference on Ethics in America.

Diane Knich, higher education reporter with The Post and Courier in Charleston, was embedded in The Citadel's weeklong Leadership Seminar. For the first time a reporter stood alongside cadets at morning physical training and took part in the discussions about principled leadership development.

For the next month, Honor Committee candidates will participate in an intensive training program, which will prepare these cadets to serve as effective members of the 2009 Honor Committee.
