Vice President for Facilities and Engineering at The Citadel, 1994-2007. Colonel Tomasik received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Rutgers University and a master's degree in industrial engineering from Lehigh University. Graduate of Engineer Officer Candidate School and served with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. Military service includes commanding engineering troops in Vietnam, Grenada, and Saudi Arabia. Military decorations include Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster, Bronze Star with three oak leaf clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Service medal with three oak clusters, and several others.
