SANDIFER, SAMUEL H.

1916-2001. Class of 1937. Received his M.D. degree from the Medical College of South Carolina (now known as the Medical University of South Carolina). Served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Attained the rank of Colonel. Served as a distinguished cardiologist in the Army and at various civilian hospitals and medical colleges. Was Surgeon at The Citadel, 1965-1971.
