Training & Development - Women of Influence Award Program

Previously named the TWIN Award Program

Every Spring for the past 20 years, The Citadel has participated in a Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) program sponsored by the Charleston YWCA. The program is designed to recognize and honor women who are advancing in managerial, executive, and professional roles in the work place. At the same time, The Citadel is recognized for its role in the community for encouraging women in pursuit of a wider range of career opportunities.

We will participate again in the 2008 TWIN Program. We are asked to nominate a deserving professional woman for this prestigious award. In August 2008, the YWCA will host a TWIN recognition banquet at which selected women and participating employers will be recognized.

The Employee Recognition Committee will review nominations and refer final selection through the Director of Human Resources to the President for approval and selection.
