How do I take a summer school course at The Citadel?

SUMMER SCHOOL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

All CGC students are required to adhere to all of The Citadel's policies and procedures as stated in the catalog. Please visit the CGC office or web site for a copy of the catalog.

HOW DO I TAKE AN UNDERGRADUATE SUMMER SCHOOL COURSE AS A TRANSIENT STUDENT AT THE CITADEL?
Complete the Maymester and Summer School Undergraduate Application/Registration Worksheet and attach the $30 nonrefundable application fee.

To register in person:
Come to The Citadel Graduate College office, Bond Hall, room 101. Our office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday thru Friday with extended early evening hours when classes are in session.

To mail in registration:

What do I need to provide The Citadel to take courses?
Undergraduate courses are open to all students who have graduated from an accredited high school and passed prerequisites to these courses. Proof must be provided if requested. Rising high school seniors may take up two introductory level courses with written permission of their high school principal or school counselor.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR GRADUATE OR UNDERGRADUATE EVENING DEGREE PROGRAMS?
Please visit our website concerning programs offered, admission and degree requirements, course offerings, fee payment, calendars, and other important information regarding attending The Citadel Graduate College.

Prospective students have the option of applying either online, via mail, or in person. Please check our website for applicable program requirements. All degree seeking students must be fully accepted into The Citadel Graduate College in order to register for classes. Non-degree seeking students must present a copy of their undergraduate degree transcript with application and registration. Not all courses are available to non-degree seeking students.

Apply online, download and mail, or bring in the appropriate Graduate or Undergraduate degree application and registration forms.
