A two-time winner of the NPAA Military Photographer of the Year award, Stacy began her career as a combat photojournalist during which she earned the Bronze Star. Since retiring from active duty, she has published work in various media including Time Magazine, CNN, BBC, USA Today, and Sports Illustrated. The former owner of the Charleston Center for Photography, Stacy continues to travel the world on assignment and conducting photography workshops. She holds an honorary doctorate of the arts from The Citadel, where she also serves on the School of Humanities Advisory Board.
