Important News: |
You must complete or renew the Free Application for Federal Student Aid - (FAFSA) every year! You can complete the application as soon as January 1st for the following academic year. Example: For the 2009-2010 academic year, you can file as soon as January 1, 2009. Complete it online for faster processing. School code: 003423
For New Direct Loan Student Borrowers:
- Direct Loan Entrance Counseling is also required
- Your Master Promissory Note can be signed online.
- New Direct Loan borrowers must get a PIN from the Department of Education to sign promissory notes. The pin number is the same number used for completing the FAFSA online.
The South Carolina Teacher Loan may be a good option for you if you are a student completing your initial certification or a professional looking to change careers in order to teach.
